I have uninstalled certain programs from my Lenovo windows notebook last day. But it is seen that the icon of the program is still remaining on the device. Why is it so? Please share with me adequate details on the same.

    Hi,

If you have properly uninstalled the Program from your system then there is no logic of Icon staying on the desktop.

Boot in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 when the booting process will begin.

Check the situation on the desktop, wheather there is a change.

Reboot and press F5 a number of times and that should solve your problem.

    Thanks.
