Issues with Windows Media Center on Windows 7 System.

I use Windows Media Center on my Windows 7 computer, the problem with this application is that the playlists are not saving even after saving multiple times. Once I have created a Playlist with 25 songs then after restarting the machine when I search for the playlist I can't find it anywhere through the Media center.

i understand your problem, make sure all the songs are your system hard disk.. i mean if they are several external media devices you may face similar problem..

let me tell you more clearly, say you have 3 songs, one is in your pen-drive, second one is on your mobile which is connected to system, and third one is in external hard disk..

when you disconnect these devices and restart your system you may not able to play those songs again from the same play list. okay ?

your system media library might be corrupted, to solve this problem follow below steps..

    open the media center.
    Now Exit Windows Media Center.
    Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft
    click OK.
    Select the Media Player folder.
Click Delete on the File menu.

    Restart Windows

okay now try to save the play list.. it works.
    happy to assist you

    Hi Friend,

The Problem might be in the Playlist.

    >> So it is Displaying the Multiple Times.

    >> So you have to check the Playlist.

    >> Also Scan the System with Good Antivirus and Remove the Virus.

    >> After that Restart The System.

    I hope you will understand.

    All the Best

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say................

1.This was the problem of the windows media center software.

2.So you uninstall this software first.

3.Then open any of the browser.

4.And go to the website 'http://www.filehippo.com'.

5.From there you download the Media Center and then install it.

    Have a nice day...........
