Lost Google toolbar after Windows Vista Update

I have changed my OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista. As part of this, I have installed the latest version of Firefox. When I opened the browser there is no Google toolbar. What should be done to regain Google toolbar?

    Hi,

After the Windows upgradation successfully, you have installed Mozilla Firefox latest version browser, and being developed by a seperate developer it has its program directed to hide other companies programs those are of somewhat similar utility. So Mozilla Hide Google and uninstalling Firefox will again give you the option of using Google toolbar.

Also check in installed program list from Add/Remove Program wheather Google toolbar is still there.
Again install Google toolbar and it will show on your screen.

    Thanks.

    Hello friend..

Firefox 5 is a security and stability update for Firefox 4.0.1 and you should not use Firefox 4.0.1 or 4.0 as they are no longer supported. That is the reason you are receiving the update notification.

Many users have found that the Google toolbar will work in Firefox 5 by installing the following add-on. Google needs to test their toolbar with Firefox 5 and change, in their code, the versions of Firefox with which it is compatible. The following add-on will add a "Compatibility" button in the Add-ons > Extensions display.

    Add-on Compatibility Reporter: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...lity-reporter/

You need to install the Google toolbar click here to download the google toolbar

    All the Best!!

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem it is:-

As you said that you have been using the 'Mozilla Firefox' of the latest
version. The latest version of these Firefox was programmed security
reasons so it is not showing the Google toolbar.

If you want to get the 'Google toolbar' on the top of the Mozilla Firefox
you should have to download the Mozilla Firefox 5.0. So that you can get
    the toolbar of the Google.

You can download it from 'www.filehippo.com'.

I hope it will help you.

    Have a nice day..........
