Method to update Windows Media Player on Windows XP 32 bit?

As we know the Windows Media Player on a Windows XP system doesn't include much features in it, I want to update it where I can get media Player 8 or 9 but I dint find any update for this program. Please provide a link or path to install the updates for Windows Media player. Hope you will respond soon.

You wont get any update which you prefer, as the Windows XP is pretty old Operating System,
and the powerful latest Windows Media Players are not developed for the older OSs.

Log into www-microsoft.com, search for Windows media player, the one that was installed on your system, you should download another copy of that or just the above version.
If that is successfully downloaded install it and play.

    That's it.

    Hi friend,
Windows Media Player is updated from time to time with new features and performance enhancements. You can let the Player check for updates automatically on the interval of your choice or you can check for updates manually. To update the Player, you must be logged on to your computer as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group, and you must be connected to the Internet.

    To check for updates manually:
#Click the Help menu, and then click Check for Updates.
#If the Help menu is not visible, show the classic menu.
To set how often the player automatically set for updates:
#Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, and then click More Options.
#On the Player tab, under Check for updates, click the interval option that you want.
    Thank you..
