Re: Mouse Pointer is responding very slow in my Windows 7

You face this problem, as you have set the pointer speed to slow. You need to change it’s speed, so that you can get the pointer responsiveness according to your mouse speed.
Go to Start >> Control Panel.
Type “Mouse” in the search and hit Enter.
Click “Change the mouse pointer display or speed” under “Mouse”.
Under motion >> select the pointer speed, drag the slide from slow to fast.
Moving towards “fast” increases the pointer speed and towards “slow” decreases the pointer seed.
    Adjust it accordingly.
    Click “Apply” and “Ok”.

Re: Mouse Pointer is responding very slow in my Windows 7

    Hi,

You have a couple of options to control the mouse of your system.

Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse , click on it and you will have all the controls at your fingertips adjust speed from there.

Another way is , at the right hand corner of Task Bar , you will find an arrow tip, click on it and it will show you a few icons among which there is a Pointing Device icon , click on it and it will offer you the same options from where you can control the mouse behavior.

    Thanks.

Re: Mouse Pointer is responding very slow in my Windows 7

You can also change how the mouse pointer works:

STEP 1.Open Mouse by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware, and then clicking Mouse.
STEP2.Click the Pointer Options tab, and then do any of the following:
i.To change the speed at which the mouse pointer moves, move the Select a pointer speed slider towards Slow or Fast.
ii.To make the pointer work more accurately when you're moving the mouse slowly, select the Enhance pointer precision check box
iii.To speed the process of selecting a choice when a dialog box appears, select the Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box check box .
iv.To make the pointer easier to find when you move it, select the Display pointer trails check box, and then move the slider towards Short or Long to decrease or increase the length of the pointer trail.

    Thank you.

Re: Mouse Pointer is responding very slow in my Windows 7

this error is due to many reasons:
    1) low video memory or low RAM.
    2) unwanted background processes that is using 100% C.P.U
    3) you changes mouse settings.

if u r using 1 gb ram then upgrade it to 2 or 3 gb

for second reason click alt+ctrl+del to open task manager. now in processes tab. right click on the applications that is using more c.p.u (other then windows functions).
    also remove unwanted programs.

for third reason just follow these step:

    1. Right click anywhere on the desktop and select personalize.
    2. click on change mouse pointer in the left pane.
    3. select the pointer option
    4. in "motion" section increase the speed by moving on pointer precision towards right
    5. click APPLY.
    6. press OK.

    Hi mate,
Hope you are in good shape.

See you are facing this problem because your system RAM is not enough.
Moving a pointer is also a process.
Since your system does not have sufficient RAM,hence it is working slowly and taking time to move.
When you'll increase the RAM,everything's gonna be fine.

    Bye!

    Hi friend,
Hope you are in good health and good state of mind!
It's always a treat and fun to answer your queries.
I also appreciate the confidence that you have shown in us!

    Well don't worry about this!
This is happening because your system does not have enough memory.
Hence its taking time to move the cursor.
The solution for this is that you can add some more RAM in your system.
But then you need to reinstall the OS on your system.
Once you'll do so,then everything's gonna be fine

I hope I have answered all your doubts.
It was a pleasure answering your queries.
Hope that you'll come up with some more challenging queries!
    Till then,take care.
    Bye!

Re: Mouse Pointer is responding very slow in my Windows 7

See dear, their is possibly one main reason behind your mouse pointer response to be slow , which is that the setting of the pointer response in your windows 7 is set to be at a low value.
you need to change/increase your mouse response.
to do so follow the steps below-

    1.first go to Control Panel.

2.then click on the mouse icon.

3.the mouse property dialog box will appear.

4.Now there will be various tabs viz. pointer , button ,pointer option etc...click on "pointer" tab.

5.you will find a pointer response/speed adjustment bar.you should slide it forward (towards "high").

adjust the pointer speed as per your desire.

    this will solve the problem.

THE IMAGE BELOW WILL BE HELPFUL.PLEASE GO THROUGH IT.

If the same problem persists even after increasing the speed, then the only reason could be that your mouse is dis-functioning.
its censors might got have weakened.
there is no remedy to this problem , but to change your mouse.

    GOOD LUCK
