My hard drive spaces disappears in Windows Vista

It seems like everytime I surf the web, view a video on Youtube, etc., my temporary internet file is stored on my hard drive. I have determined this because everytime I run a security scan I end up with the security software scanning almost 2 million files and I have about 200GB of unaccounted hard disk space. the file path I see through this security scan is C\users\myname\appdata\local\microsoft\ windows\tempintfiles. Needless to say, my hard disk space is rapidly disappearing. I'm trying to access that folder so I can delete that massive file but I get an "access denied" message. Let me know the solution for this problem. Thanks in Advance !!!

    Hi,

There are several ways to fulfill your desire of cleaning the system.

    1. Uninstall any program which you are not using for sometime and less important. (Start>ControlPanel>Add/Remove Program>select program>Uninstall.)
    2. Delete manually files which can be deleted with no future requirment.
    3. Use Windows own "DISK CLEANUP" tool to clean the system from lots of files those are not visible to you but are taking space.(Start>Accessories>System Tools> Disk Cleanup.)
    4. You can also use a third party cleaner to clean the system, say CCleaner.exe, by downloading from the net.
    5. Defragment the drive to extract maximum benefit after cleaning the drive.

    Thanks.
