Re: Dell Inspiron Mini 10 can’t work on native resolution after installing Windows 8 Pro Hi, There must be some issues as Windows 8 pro is having a powerfull Display Driver of it`s own , but it may have tangled itself during the process of installation with Windows 7. Was it a clean installation or it was Win8 on top of Win 7? Anywat change the display driver. START > DEVICE MANAGER > DISPLAY ADAPTER > UPDATE DRIVER and you will get a fresh Display Driver installed. Thanks.

Re: Dell Inspiron Mini 10 can’t work on native resolution after installing Windows 8 Pro The first step required is to update the display driver and see whether it resolves the issue. Go to bottom left corner of the desktop and right click the ‘Start’ icon. Select ‘Device Manager’ from the available menu afterwards and locate the ‘Display Adapter’ option. Tap the plus sign next to that option for expanding it and find out the display adapter. Then, right click on it and choose the ‘update driver software’ option. Another method is to download the display driver from manufacturer’s website and locate the driver. Right click on the driver after that and select the ‘Properties’ option. After that, press the ‘Compatibility’ tab and click the checkbox next to ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ label. Click the drop down menu afterwards and choose Windows 7 operating system. Press the ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ option one after the other. Finally, run the file for installing it into your system.
Dell Inspiron Mini 10 can’t work on native resolution after installing Windows 8 Pro Since installing Windows 8 Pro into my Dell Inspiron Mini 10, it can’t display its native resolution 1,024 by 768 pixels. Instead of that, it is constrained to 800 x 576 pixels or 640 x 480 pixels. The aspect ratio tends to get distorted due to this when I switch into desktop mode. Is there any fix available for this problem?
