    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say................

1.Firstly this was the problem of the fake software.

2.So you are facing this problem.

3.So you uninstall that software first.

4.Then you open any of your browser.

5.Then you download it and then install it.

6.Still if you have the problem then the MP 3 files may be corrupted.

    Have a nice day..........

    Hello there !!!

really your problem seems to be very weird.
it is quite embarrassing that window media player is not able to play the MP3 files.

or it might happen that there is problem with your files only.
your mp3 files might be corrupt or damaged.

or same things may happens with the window media player.
also you did not point out the actual error while playing the mp3 files.

since the error would have make our task easier to find out the possible solution.
so, try to update the window media player.

hope i am clear to you .
    thanks for posting in EALP.

It seems that windows Media Player Library database in your computer has been corrupted. To fix your issue, you will have to clear the Windows Media Player Database. To do the same, close the windows media player(if it is running). Now click on "Start" button and open run command(Windows key+R).Type "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player" in the text box and hit the enter button on your keyboard. Press ctrl+A to select all files and folders. Once selected, delete all of them. After a fresh restart, windows media player will automatically rebuild its database.

Windows Media Player doesn't recognize the MP3 files in windows 7

I am on windows 7 computer which works absolutely fine. However windows media player was just useless for me because i never used it. Now i have got some MP3 files from my Friend. I don't have any third party application like VLC Media player or GOM player etc so i tried to play them through windows media player. Opposite to my expectation,it doesn't recognize even MP3 files. I know that it can play these files. How can i fix this issue?
