Re: Windows Photo viewer gives error when trying to rotate image

This error usually shows up if you are trying to change or edit the picture in the memory storage where it’s restricted to commit the file with changes. Now there is a workaround which can be followed to fix this which as follows,

STEP 1: Open the Run windows (Windows key + R).

STEP 2: Type mspaint -> Select OK.

STEP 3: Select File -> Open -> Open the picture which you are trying to edit.

STEP 4: Select File -> Save and select the location.

STEP 5: Close the paint application and try to open up the image where you have saved and now you will be able to rotate, edit etc.

Windows Photo viewer gives error when trying to rotate image

As usual I am using my Windows system to view the pictures with the Windows Photo viewer application and when I try to do some edit work like rotate etc. it gives the error as “Windows Photo Viewer can’t save the changes to this picture because there’s a problem with the picture’s file properties”. Anyway which we can follow to fix this issue?
