dear""

In Control Panel choose Problem Reports and Solutions (type problem in
Start's searchbox), go to Problem History, right click your error and choose
Check For Solution. You can also examine the details.

In Administrative Tools choose Reliability and Performance Monitor and
choose MonitoringTools then Reliability Monitor (type Reliability in search
on Start) . This list is a chart of software installs, uninstalls, Windows
updates, and crashes by date. See if your crashes started happening after
you installed or uninstalled something.

The 'not responding' glitch can be eliminated by checking a single box
No doubt, like myself, many readers have found that Internet Explorer (IE) 9 does not respond sometimes. I discovered this was due to a setting that tells IE how to display web pages. I had no more problems once I changed this.
Click on the Start button, type Internet Options and press Enter. Click on the Advanced tab. The option to change is the top one, ‘Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering’. Tick this option, click OK and restart IE.

Computeractive says: Internet Explorer is using the graphics card to improve performance, so when this option isn’t selected, updating the graphics card drivers may also fix this problem.

hii

This problem you are facing could be due to the fact that your pc has got infected by virus ..
Sometimes it also happens because of low configuration of your pc..
Try to check out for that and improve your pc configuration..
You can also try downloading ccleaner, and running the registry scan.
Also you can try creating a new user profile for your pc... as yours may have become corrupt...
Run a virus scan on your pc to check for any viruses....
Also perform a system restore on your pc...and then try multitasking....

thanks

Re: How to overcome the Windows Explorer Not responding problem? Why it shows up?

If your Windows Explorer says not responding sometimes, then it means your PC's Physical Memory is low.

For using Windows 7 OS, your System Requirements must be :

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

If you don't have these requirements, you will face this problem frequently.

So, you must upgrade your RAM, if you have less RAM than mentioned here.

Even if your PC has these requirements, then this problem may occur due to many applications running at a time.

You may close some background applications by using Windows Task Manager.

Or you can close some startup applications by opening "msconfig" by typing it in Search Bar of Start Menu.

How to overcome the Windows Explorer Not responding problem? Why it shows up?

Whenever I try to multitask with my Windows 7 OS I get an error message saying that “Windows Explorer Not responding” and all the process which I use to run get freeze and closes automatically. What to do with this problem? Is there any permanent fix this problem so that I won’t loose my data anymore?
