Re: Problem is deleting GoogleUpdate.exe in Windows XP System Solution STEP 1: Click Start >> Run. STEP 2: Type “msconfig”, hit Enter. STEP 3: “System Configuration Utility” Window opens. STEP 4: Tap on the “Startup” Tab. STEP 5: Click “Apply” and “Ok”. Restart the System. STEP 6: Go to the Control Panel >> Task Scheduler. STEP 7: Find and delete “GoogleUpdateTaskUser”. STEP 8: Go to “C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Update”. STEP 9: Find and delete “GoogleUpdate.exe”, your problem is solved.

Problem is deleting GoogleUpdate.exe in Windows XP System I saw that GoogleUpdate.exe is running background after installing Google Chrome in Windows XP System. I deleted it, but can find it again when I open Google Chrome. Please, help me in solving the problem. Thank you in advance.
