Hi friend..........To fix the sound problems in windows 7 ......follow the below instructions

first of all press windows key+r and type dxdiag in the run box

now press ENTER Key ......then choose the SOUND tab and check the NOTES box

if you find any error ..... then there is a problem with the drivers( in this case simply re-install the audio drivers ) ..... other wise try to check these

again press windows key+r and type mmsys.cpl in the run box and press ENTER key

now choose GENERAL tab check the whether the Speakers option is enabled or not ......if not simply right click on it ....choose Enable

after that right click on SPEAKERS and choose properties .......and tap on ENHANCEMENTS tab

and un check DISABLE ALL ENHANCEMENTS option and click Ok

and If all the settings are fine ......and still the problem persists case check the Hardware connections

    ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!

    Dear friend,

First make sure that your speakers are working, with another PC or any mobile phone.

You should check the audio driver, you have installed, in the following way:

    >Go to Control Panel> Device manager> Sound, video and game controllers.
    >Check if there is (!) on the menu. If it is then there is problem with your audio driver. Check whether you are installing driver compatible with Windows 7.

You can also do this by right clicking on your Sound driver name and then click "Update Driver Software", if you're online.

If you dont see any (!) mark, then there is no problem with your audio driver and you should check the audio volume settings in notification area in the task bar.

Hoping that this will help you.

    Thanks!

Re: No Sound in the System after reinstalling Windows 7.

There might be some problem in Windows speaker's default setting.

Please go through these steps to fix the issue ,

-> Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Windows Media Player.

-> Click the Devices tab, click Speakers, and then click Properties.

-> Select the options you want, and then click OK.

However if the problem still persists , then you can do trouble shooting :

Click Start , and then click Control Panel .

Under System and Security , click Find and fix problems .

Re: No Sound in the System after reinstalling Windows 7.

The missing sound of your computer under Windows 7 possibly occured due to problems in device driver for audio.

Though you have installed the sound driver from the mother board but you need to verify wheather the driver is compatible to Windows 7 or not.

Way out is simple, log in to your motherboard manufacturers website download another latest audio driver compatible to Windows 7 and install.
Or, you can use the generic driver by doing this,
    start--control panel--system and security--device manager--sound.........--driver--uninstall, and exit.
A new driver will be in place automatically.

    Try them.
