This is one of the most common issues that windows computers users face. To resolve this issue you need to first check if the mute option is turned on. This can be checked on the right bottom corner of taskbar. If it is not in mute, then you need to make sure that the volume control of the video player is not muted and is kept at an audible range. Next step that you can do is to play another file or an audio file to check if you can hear any sound on the computer. If yes, then it could be a problem with the video file and if it is a no, then there could be some issue with the sound card installed on the windows computer. Not all computers have built in speakers. Sometimes you may have to use external speakers.
Steps To Solve The Problem ::
Go to mycomputer icon and right click (click on properties) you should have the systems screen pop up
Go to hardware and click on device manager make sure you have no unknown hardware if you do that may be the you may need the driver for the sound card.
you can also just restart the PC complete or you can also go to start-control panel-sound and audio devices
Make sure that the correct sound card is default most computer's these days have two so check it out....
Good Luck . . !!
Old PC's dont have built in speakers. Usually speakers are not built inside the PC.
You need to buy a new speaker and connect it to the PC.
The speaker has two wires one is the power cable and other audio jacket.
Better use a earphone and test it whether you hear the sound.
Windows vista onwards have the driver for sound..
If you have lower versions than vista then go for sound drivers.
Hello,
friend there might be a possibility that you by mistake have kept your audio on mute.
To check that click on the right bottom of screen, where the date and time is displayed.
Now check if that is not mute.
If mute is not the problem than you must check if the media player on which you are working may have some issues.
If these 2 are not the problems than you should try installing the audio drivers again on your computer.

Hello friend,
I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..............
1.Yes, all the computers will have built in speakers.
2.But they produce a very minute sound that you may cannot hear properly.
3.If you have the external speakers still the sound is not working only when playing video.
4.Then you check the settings of that video player may be muted.
5.Or this may be the problem of that video file it may have not got the sound along with it.
6.If it works in another device properly then you uninstall and re-install the Video Player software.
I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.
Have a nice day.........
