The Nokia PC suite software is compactable with 32 and 64 bit systems.
I think there is a error in your windows OS.
There is a internal software or driver in windows that automatically detects 32 or 64 bit software, and yours is a 64 bit system.

1.Either go for your windows update which will automatically detects the fault and corrects them(Enable the auto update for windows)

2.If that is not working then insert the Windows DVD and repair your system from the auto run program.

You may have downloaded 32 bit software(pc suite) as they are not compatible with 64 bit processor.Check and try to install 64 bit pc suite.or trying "reinstall using recommended settings".

I think you might have downloaded the 32-bit software. Softwares that are available on internet publicly are usually of 32-bit. You will have to search for 64-bit nokia pc-suite.
If it is not available, you will have to change your OS to 32-bit. Most of the softwares are having 32-bit compatibility.

    dear friend,

nokia pc suit's older version is a 32 bit software.

so it may not support in dell xps.

it'll be better if you use 64bit software i.e NOKIA OVI SUITE.

download the new software which has more features than pc suit.

    good luck
