Not able to delete preinstalled songs from Windows Media Player 12

There are certain preinstalled sample music files on my PC running on Windows 7. I am not able to remove the files from Media Player 12 installed on my PC. It is not possible to add any song to the Windows Media Player library without deleting these sample music files. How can I delete it and add new songs to Windows Media Player 12 library?

Window Media Player installed in your PC may get corrupted in some way. You should clear the database of Windows Media Player to resolve this issue. For that, you should first exit from the Windows Media Player and click on the ‘Start’ button. After that, you should click on the ‘Run’ option available from the given items. Then you should type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player on the given field and click on the ‘OK’ button. You should then choose all files in the folder that appear on your screen and click on the ‘Delete’ option available in File menu. After that, you should restart your Windows Media Player and check whether the issue get solved. If it does not get resolved, then you should clear the database cache files of Windows Media Player. For that, you should type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft into the field displayed under ‘Run’ option. You should then click on the ‘OK’ option and select the ‘Media Player’ folder from the given list. Then you should click on ‘Delete’ option in File menu and restart the Windows Media Player. Now your problem could be solved.
