    Photoshop in Windows 7 Professional System does not allow to edit the image

    I installed Photoshop in Windows 7 Professional System. I have an image and tried to edit. When I tried to edit the image, I could not do so. It is not accepting to edit the image. What might be the reason? What might be the problem? Please, help me!

    Hello friend...

    There are two simple steps if the photoshop does not allow you to edit the photo:

    ->You could try double clicking the picture in the layers window then click ok.

    that takes the lock off.


    ->Or you can make a copy of the background layer and make that a new layer, then you can edit that....

    Or else

    The format of the photo may not allow you to edit...

    So check the format of the picture...

    Dear friend,


    I have the right solution solution for your problem just follow as i say......

    1.This may be the problem of your photoshop software.

    2.So you make a right click on that image.

    3.And open it as Paint and there you can edit it.

    4.Or you open it with another editing software and then edit it.

    DEAR FRIEND,

    To edit the Image with photoshop .....follow the below guide lines

    right click on Image and choose openwith....and select photoshop ... if not in the list simply click on choose program and select photoshop application

    after that press ctrl+n combination and ....give the size ....whatever the size you want and press enter key

    then a new page will be displayed...... after that drag the photo in to the New page

    after right click on the photo in the new page and select Layer 1 .....now edit the photo ....

    Dear friend.

    It seems that you have installed old version of the adobe photoshop.

    Download the latest photoshop for the improved compability for the windows 7.


    1. Goto google.com

    2. Search and download the latest adobe photoshop.

    3. Install the latest photoshop and then start it.

    4. Now open the files using the photoshop and then try to edit.

    5. If you still not able to edit then check that if the files is read only.

    6. Further the adobe photoshop is an advanced editing software and it need proper training.

    Hello friend,


    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say........

    1.you might been using the old version of the Photoshop.

    2.So it is not allowing you to edit.

    3.So you try to update or install the updated version of the Photoshop.

    4.Still you have the problem

    5.Then you install the other photoshop software's like Picasa etc,......
