Picasa does not display “.PNG” images in Windows 7 Professional system

I installed Picasa in Windows 7 Professional System. When I opened it and tried to view images which are present in my System, I cannot view all the images of “.PNG”. I am facing the problem in viewing “.PNG” files. Please, help me!
