    Is it possible to disable the search queries getting saved in Windows machine?

    I want to maintain privacy in my Windows machine as it is shared by many users in my office, So is it possible to disable the search queries getting saved in the Windows machine? How to do it?

    Yes, it is possible to disable the search queries in your windows machine to maintain privacy, just follow the few simple steps to carry it out.

    STEP 1: Open run command from Start menu or press Windows key + R and type GPEDIT.MSC and press OK.
    STEP 2: Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer.
    STEP 3: Select "Turn off display of recent search entries..." and click Enabled > OK.

    Now you can check the search queries won’t be saved in the history.

    if you want to save the your usage file and disable the search queries , then you can use the bit locker option which lock your respective hard drive and only using the password you can use the files

    Yes, you can delete all your previous search queries and you can turn off this feature so that these will not be saved any further.

    Open the "RUN" from start button.
    Type regedit
    Next follow the path :-> HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVe rsionExplorer WordWheelQuery

    Now delete the WordWheelQuery folder.

    Yes you can disable or delete the search queries in your computer by the option provided in the search options and you can delete the history of the search index box and also if you want to search any thing in your computer then you can enter the keyword in the search box so that you can find your file.

    Hi,
    all you need is to go to run and type
    gpedit.msc and hit enter
    a window will open,
    on the left side of screen go to user configuration<administrative templates<windows components<windows exploreer
    search for "turn off the display of recent search entries" and click on it.
    a window will appear as shown in the figurea.jpg
    click on enabled and then ok

    It is possible to disable the search queries in your windows OS machine to machine privacy. In order to do this follow the given steps:

    Just follow these steps:
    -> press windows+r

    -> go to User Configuration
