Is it possible to display user list on Windows 7 login screen?

Even though I have two user accounts on my PC running on Windows 7, the login screen shows only the last logged in user. It is possible to enter the other username manually by pressing the ‘Other Users’ button. Instead of that, I need to view the users list on the login screen. What should I do for that?

This can be accomplished by deleting a registry key from your PC. You need to create back up for this key before deleting it. The first step required is to press the ‘Start’ button and wait until the start menu pop up on the screen. Type regedt32 into the search box and click on the ‘OK’ button. This will open up the Registry Editor on your PC. Once you get into the Registry Editor window, go to the left side bar and navigate into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList. You can find a key named .DEFAULT under profile list. It has no data value with it. Right click on that key and click on the ‘Delete’ available in the pop-up menu. Reboot your PC afterwards so that you can see the users list on the login screen.
