    Preventing messenger pop ups in Asus notebook running Windows XP

    How can you prevent messenger pop ups in my Asus notebook running Windows XP? Please help on this by mentioning suitable steps.

    For preventing messenger pop ups in your Asus notebook running Windows XP, perform the following steps
    • First of all open the control panel from start menu
    • Now open ‘Administrative Tools’
    • Open ‘Services’ from the tools
    • Now locate the messenger and click on the icon twice to open ‘Messenger Properties’ tab
    • In the options, set the ‘start up type’ to be disabled in Messenger Properties
    • Now tap on Stop button and finally click on ‘Apply’ to save the changes
    Now you have successfully prevented messenger pop ups in your Asus notebook running Windows XP

    Hello friend.,


    * To disable Microsoft messenger service follow the below steps:


    1.Click Start buttonwind.jpg.
    2.Go to Control Panel and open the 'Administrative Tools'.
    3.Open 'services' from it.
    4.Locate Messenger and double-click the icon to open Messenger Properties.
    5.Within the Messenger Properties,set the Startup Type to disabled.
    6.And click the Stop button.
    7.Click the Apply button and close out all the windows.

    Preventing messenger pop ups u need to follow the steps
    1. Goto start and select control panel and
    2. Select system and security and after
    3. Administrative tools and open service
    4. Search for the installed messenger and select the program
    5.now right click on the program if you dont wish to run that program then select stop
    6.or else in that only goto properties and select disable or manual option

    Here are the steps to prevent messenger pop ups in your asus notebook running on windows XP


    1)Click on the Start button ->settings->control panel.
    2)Locate and click on
    administrative tools.
    3)From the list click on
    services.
    4)Click messenger and hit the drop-down menu next to
    startup type.
    5)Select the
    disabled option.
    6)Hit the
    Stopbutton under Service Status. Click OK to end task.

    ==> Right click> Properties
    ==> Select Start up type disabled

    Go to start menu.
    Open control panel.
    Open administrative tools.
    Open services option.
    Click on the messenger twice.
    Now messenger properties is opened.
    Turn off the start up type.
    Press stop option.
    Press apply.
    Now you are done & also prevented messenger pop up in Asus notebook.
