Printing issues with HP Deskjet D4168.

When I connected my HP Deskjet D 4168 printer to PC that has Windows 7 Professional and gave the print command it did not respond at that time. Then after a while it printed the document I had given the command for some time back. Is there any way to fix this?

    dear friend,

There are many possible reasons behind this problem.

Check that you've connected all the chord associated with the printer as per the instruction given by the HP.

Are you using the latest printer driver software!

Check that the driver is backdated or not-if it is out of date then upgrade the driver to the latest from the HP website.

If this also doesn't work then go for windows update.

Click on the start button & go to the Control Panel.

Switch to the category view & Select System & Security.

Click on the windows update option & update it using the Microsoft account.

But if your OS is not genuine, then you must not try this.

You may also try to fix the problem manually.

Copy paste the following link to the address bar of your browser & press enter-

    http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9740813

    Download & install the file.

Now run the wizard & follow the steps to fix the problem.

Hope any of these solution will help you to solve your problem.

    Hi,
From your question it seems you are able to print but the wait is a bit long.
So, the hardware part are out of question. Only check the connector and attached cable that acts as interface between the computer and printer.
Now while giving a command of print, right click on the printer icon and check the print queue option, and clear the queue before printing that might help.
Update the driver file for the printer that was supplied by HP and if that doesnt help download a fresh copy of driver file from the Microsoft site and install it.
I think that will do the trick.
    Thank you.

    Hello friend,
It seems like you have a problem with the printer driver. Your printer driver may be outdated.
Try to download the latest printer driver from HP website.
    Your problem should be solved.

If the problem still persists, try replacing the cable connecting printer and CPU.

    Thanks.
