    Hello !!

your mails are getting deleted but it is not seen to you because it seems that, there are a lot of junk mails in your junk box more than 100s.
so just have focused on total no of mails before deleting and than after deleting them.
you will come to know that they are getting deleted.
since they are in too much amount therefore it is not visible to you.
for your information you can delete maximum of 50 mails at a time.

    hope you are satisfied.

    Hi,

Deleting Junc Mail is usually done without hassle, selecting the mail and then clicking Delete. but something is wrong in your system and here`s some suggestion if that helps.

    1. antivirus or any other security programs should have e-mail scanning turned off. The email scaning option is a redundant feature.

    2. find update for the mail client and install it,

    3. you may need to uninstall the program completely if update is not available, later reinstall the e-mail client.

    4. If this still fails to help, then possibly your email account has been corrupted.
Delete your current email account. (Click on Tools, Accounts in Windows Mail)

    Close and reopen Windows Mail.

Add the email account again. (Click Tools, Accounts, Add, E-mail)

This should assist you in bringing sanity to the e-mail program in your system.

    Thanks.

Re: Problem in deleting Junk Mails in Windows Vista

    Instructions

      • 1Launch Windows Mail. Click the "Junk" folder. Double-click a message to open it in a new window, then close it again to refresh the junk folder index file.

      • 2Click on the message to select it, then click the "Delete" button on the toolbar to delete the message. If this does not delete the message, close the Windows Mail program window and continue to Step 3.

      • 3Download the "WMUtil" program by clicking the link in the Resources section. Double-click the "wmutil151.zip" file and extract it to a folder on your hard disk drive.

      • 4Double-click the "WMUtil.exe" file to launch the "Windows Mail Utility" tool. The Windows Mail Utility tool allows you to repair and restore the databases files that store messages for the Windows Mail program.

      • 5Click the "Repair Database" button. Click "OK" to confirm that you wish to run the repair process. The repair process rebuilds the Windows Mail database, which fixes many issues, including the inability to delete mail from the junk folder. The repair process window closes when the process is complete.

      • 6Launch the Windows Mail program and click the "Junk" folder. Click on a message to select it and click the "Delete" button. Successful deletion of the email message indicates that functionality has been restored to the junk mail folder.
