Procedure for pinning favorite websites to Windows 8 start screen

I have upgraded my laptop to Windows 8 and installed Internet Explorer 10 into it. Now, I need to pin my favorite websites to start screen for accessing them quickly. What should I do for that?

Start up your system and get into the start screen. Open up the Internet Explorer and navigate into any of your favorite sites. Go to the address bar available at the bottom part. Click the thumb tack icon visible over there. A text field will pop up on the screen afterwards with a ‘Pin to Start’ button. Type a description into the field for recognizing the site. Once you finish this, click on ‘Pin to Start’ button.
