    Procedure to Restore the Media Library on Windows Vista.

    I have windows Vista running on my PC, the problem here is whenever I open the default media player I get the message Media Library not found or missing, restore media player! So tell or provide me a procedure so as to restore the media library. Hope you respond soon.

    Hello My dear Friend ...


    Follow the below steps carefully

    Go to the START

    Then click on the ACCESSORIES

    After this you need to go for the RUN option

    There type the following in the open filed ::


    Collapse this image Expand this image % LOCALAPPDATA % \Microsoft\Mediaplayer


    So then finally click OK option

    Delete this files

    Then open medial player to scan YOUR LIBRARY


    That is it

    Hi, Friend

    To restore the windows media Library follow the below instructions

    First of all open the windows media player

    and then press alt key from the keyboard

    then there is a pop will be appeared at the top of the player ...in that pop up choose Tools option

    and then point the Advanced option

    and now click Restore Media Library option .....and the click YES button

    after that re-open the windows media player .. and check
