Procedures for adding Run command to start menu on Windows 7

I have upgraded my laptop to Windows 7 last week. Since then, I can’t find the ‘Run’ command inside the start menu. How can I restore this command in start menu?

Click the ‘Start’ button to bring up the start menu on the desktop. Go through the options listed on the start menu and click the ‘Control Panel’ option. You can then find ‘Control Panel’ window on the screen. Locate the ‘Appearance and Personalization’ icon from that window and make a single click on it. The next step required is to hit the ‘Taskbar and Start Menu’ option. Press the ‘Start Menu’ tab afterwards and click on ‘Customize’ option. This will bring up the list of start menu options. Find out ‘Run command’ from that list and click the check box next to it until it shows a tick mark. After that, press the ‘OK’ button and see whether the ‘Run’ command has appeared inside the start menu.

    Hi,

Adding Run in the Start Menu is simple. Most of the time many other programs are showen on the stsrt menu once it is run by the user.

Do the following to add Run to start up.

Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Taskbar and Start Menu > Start Menu > Customize > find "Run" from that list and click the adjoined check box > OK.

This will permanently place Run to the start up menu.

    Thanks.

    6. This will bring up the list of start menu options. Find out ‘Run command’ from that list and click the check box next to it until it shows a tick mark.
    7. After that, press the ‘OK’ button and see whether the ‘Run’ command has appeared inside the start menu.
