    Recently opened items are not seen in Start Menu of Windows 7 System

    I am using Windows 7 in my System. I open and close the items frequently. When I want to open recently opened item, I need to do it again by going to its location, as recently opened items are not seen in my Start Menu. Please, anyone help me in solving the problem.

    Solution:
    STEP 1: Right Click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
    STEP 2: Taskbar and Menu Properties dialog box opens.
    STEP 3: Tap on the Start Menu tab.
    STEP 4: Under Privacy, check the option Store and display recently opened items in the start menu and taskbar.
    STEP 5: Click on the Customize Button.
    STEP 6: Customize Start Menu dialog box opens.
    STEP 7: Scroll till you find the option Recent Items and check it.
    STEP 8: Click Ok, Apply and Ok.

    Hello friend..

    Follow these steps to add the recently opened items in the start menu in windows 7

    Click the Start button then click Control Panel.

    Clicking Appearance and Personalization and then click Taskbar and Start Menu.

    Click the Start Menu tab then go to under Privacy, select the Store and display a list of recently opened files check box so that it is checked.

    This will add Recent Items to the Start menu...

    Dear Friend,

    It is not a very big issue, to be solved.

    It is very easy to get your problem solved, just follow the simple steps below to get your problem solved.

    1) Open Start Menu.

    2) Right-Click, anywhere on the blank space space above Shutdown button.

    3) Then select Properties.

    4) In properties window, Under privacy, Click/Select the both options.

    5) Now, click on OK.

    Your problem is solved now.

    Dear friends..

    Right click on Task bar.

    Chose Properties..

    Now Click on Start menu tab..

    Put the check mark on "Store and Display recently opened programs in the start menu"..

    Go to task bar,and give right click on the task bar.then we get options.then click the properties option,then we get a TASK BAR AND START MENU PROPERTIES.click on the start menu.there we find a customize option.by clicking that we get different options,then we should scroll the ball till we get the option recent items.then click on the recent items and press ok.and later click on apply and press ok.. we see recent items in start menu

    right click on taskbar and properties/Startmenu/privacy

    select store and display recently opened programs and items in start menu
    then OK
