Recycle Bin files automatically deleted on Windows XP.

So far I have moved many files to the Recycle bin, and I don't have the habit to removing files permanently so that I can refer them or restore them from Recycle bin if necessary. But today when I have seen recycle bin it is empty, then I have moved few files into it and checked next, it is empty again. Files are being deleted automatically, what should I do?

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..........................

1.You may be deleted the files using Shift + Delete.

2.If you did like that they are permanently deleted from your system.

3.It is very difficult to restore those files.

4.If you do not use that operation this can be the problem of the virus.

5.So you install the best antivirus software and then use it.

6.If that it also not your problem then the problem is with the OS files so try to repair them.

    Have a nice day...........................

    Hello Friend,

First you should check wheather the files are in the Recycle Bin or not. If the files are in the Recycle Bin then double
click on the Recycle Bin and open it then select the files and right click and Restore them. But if you don't find any files
then they are permanantlt deleted from your PC.

Secondly you should Right click on the Recycle Bin. Then select Propertise. Then select Don't Nove Files to Recycle Bin.
Now, click OK. Problem is over.

    Bye,

Re: Recycle Bin files automatically deleted on Windows XP.

    Hello there !!!

yes it is possible for the files to get deleted from the recycle bin directly you hit
    the delete button.
since thher is the setting in the recylce bin properties and it is :
to delete file permanently from the recycle bin instead of moving it directly to the recycle bin.
and this is happening with you also.
so what you need to do is that , follow the simple steps:-

    1. go to recycle bin option.
    2. right click on it.
    3. go to properties menu.
    4. now go to security
    5. un-check the option >> delete from recycle bin directly.

    click ok >> apply
    and here it is done.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.
