Red vertical lines appearing on ‘Starting Windows’ screen

I recently installed a new hard disk and graphics card in my PC. The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT. Everything worked fine, and I could play new games without any problems. Then the red vertical lines started appearing on ‘Starting Windows’ screen. The icons and fonts got enlarged and I noticed a Code 43 error in my graphics card in Device Manager. How can I fix this? I also have the latest drivers installed.

Re: Red vertical lines appearing on ‘Starting Windows’ screen

    Hi friend......

The code 43 error generated because of ......the hardware problem or Driver problem

So, first of all turn of the PC and check whether the Graphic device inserted properly or not

after that if you face same problem ...then press windows key+r

now type devmgmt.msc in the run box and press ENTER key

then expand the DISPLAY ADAPTERS and right click on the NVDIA drive and click the UNINSTALL option

then follow the instructions and complete the process after that restart the PC

Now re-install the drivers.....after the installation again go to device manager and expand display adapter

    and update the drivers........

I hope the above lines will helps you

    ALL THE BEST...!!!!!!

Re: Red vertical lines appearing on ‘Starting Windows’ screen

The error code 43 in graphics card relates to a failure in hardware which the driver fails to report to windows.

There can be several reasons for the error.

    1. a faulty hardware, the graphics card here.
    2. a loosely fitted card on the slot which keeps troubling through off/on contact.
    3. a problematic device driver,
sometimes a switch off and turning on can solve the issue.
uninstalling the driver for display from windows and reinstalling also helps.
sometimes rolling back to the previous driver can solve.
In case the hardware is responsible, changing the slot can do the trick.
Finally the display card should be checked and if necessary changed if found to be in trouble.

    Hello,

This is happening due to the new graphic card driver. You should first uninstall the Nvidia graphic
driver from your system. Now, install the driver agian to your PC. Butb this time you will update
the driver as soon as it is installed to your PC. After update you will see no such lines on start Windows
    screen.

    Bye,
