    dear friend,

Reformatting HDD is as easy as installing a new OS.

Do you want to reformat your HDD by only orienting the partitions , or you need to format your C drive also.

If you want to format only the HD excluding the C drive then you van do it from disc management.

Click on the Start button & search for Disc Management option.

Click on the "Create & Format Hard disc partitions" option appears & you'll be redirected to the Disc Management window.

Now select your drive you want to format & make partitions as your need.

You have to confirm the disc spaces of the partitions.

If you need to format the C drive also then you have to do it through inserting a bootable DVD in your DVD drive.

Now boot from the DVD & format your C drive.

At last install the OS to your computer.

But before doing all these things , remember to keep a backup of files in your HDD.
