Removing ASP.NET Machine account from Windows Vista

When I logged into my PC running on Windows Vista, I found the ASP.NET Machine account among the user accounts. I have no idea about how such an account is created on my system. How can I delete this account?

This account is created when you install .NET framework into your system. It is needed only when you want to develop high level projects with .NET framework. Otherwise, you can delete it from the Control Panel. As a first step, you need to login your system with administrator account. Then, click the ‘Start’ button and navigate through the start menu to select ‘Control Panel’ option. Click the ‘User accounts’ option available in ‘Control Panel’ window. This will list out the user accounts on the screen from which locate the ASP.NET Machine account. Right click on that account and select ‘Delete’ option from the pop-up menu.
