    Resizing digital pictures in Windows XP

    I would like to resize the digital pictures in Windows XP so as to upload easily in phones, websites and for attaching in emails. How to do that?

    You can use the Image Resizer so as to resize the digital photos according to your need. You have to follow the step wise procedure below to do it.
    • You need to open the corresponding folder containing the images you have to resize.
    • In Thumbnail view, picture needed to be resized should be right clicked and Resize Pictures option should be selected.
    • From the Resize Pictures dialog box, the needed size should be selected and then click OK.
    The option small is best ideal for pictures to be uploaded to phone, website or email attachment. If you want some more variations then there is an option advanced, as well.

    Follow these steps:

    1.Open FILE.in paint AT the top of the window

    2.Select STRETCH/SKEW found on the image menu.

    3.Enter equal percentages in the boxes ex:100%.

    4.Click OK.

    5.Click FILE>SAVE AS.

    6.Select an appropriate file type ex: jpg,etc.,

    7. Save image as a new file.

    dear friend,

    You have to use Windows Paint software to re size a picture.

    Go to Start button > Accessories > Paint option.

    Now open the picture you want to re size by dragging it to the blank field or from the open option.

    Go to the home option & click on the re size option to set the pixel.

    Now save the new image by a different name.



    You may also use Adobe Photoshop to re size the image keeping the new image quality as the parent image.

    Hi Friend ,

    You can use many tools to resize your image

    I) Paint :-

    - It is inbuilt software in windows
    - Right click on the image and open it with paint
    - Now click on resize button

    - You can set your dimensions by percentage or by pixels
    If maintain aspect ratio box is checked than vertical dimension will be set automatically
    To set vertical dimension manually uncheck maintain aspect ratio

    II) Adobe Photoshop :-

    - It is advanced than paint
    - You can download it from adobe official website
    - Right click on the image and open with photoshop
    - Click on the image >> image size

    In order to resize the digital pictures in Windows XP, follow the given steps:

    1. Open file in MS-paint.

    2. Slect Stretch/skew option in the menu.

    3. Set the percentage of size.

    4. Click ok.

    5. Go to File>Save As.

    6. Give the type to the file that you want by changing its extenssion, eg. jpeg, gif, png etc.

    7. Then OK.

    Hello friend...

    Many software are available to re size the photo you can used the photoshop, Microsoft Office Picture Manager and also used the online software to resize the photo...

    the best software are resize the photo editor are Photoshop you also edit the image and increase and decrease the size of photo/image...

    you also used the inbuild the software Microsoft Office Picture Manager..

    Open the image/photo in the Microsoft Office Picture Manager then click the resize button appear in right side then enter the no of size and save the image...

    hi dear friend........to resize the DIGITAL PICS ....follow the instructions....




    first to the location of DIGITAL PICS


    then right click on the IMAGE and choose EDIT option from the popup


    then By Default it will be opened by the PAINT .....and if it is not opened with paint


    then again right click on the image and choose openwith and select the PAINT from the suggested list
    open it


    after that click on HOME menu which is located at the top of the window


    and choose the RESIZE option then a dialogue box appears


    then enter the HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL dimentions ....and click OK


    then your image will be resized ........


    or


    And anothe way is to resize by the ADOBE PHOTO SHOP


    just download the software, install it and open the Image with the photoshop


    then right click on the IMAGE window and choose CANVAS IMAGE option


    then enter the WIDTH , HEIGHT and RESOLUTION and click OK


    then save it as JPG format ....................ALL THE BEST

    follow this steps and find your solution......................

    1.open with paint on the picture which you want to resize.

    2.resize your picture and click ok

    other method is

    1.install a adobe photoshop softwere.
    this is best image editer softwere.
    after installing this softwere you are able more important changes on your image.

    To resize the digital pictures follow these steps

    • Go to the desktop and then choose the desired folder
    • Then select the picture which you want to resize
    • Then right click on the picture and then select the edit option
    • Now select the size and then click on Ok
    • Then save the picture
