Saving arrangement of my Desktop Icons in Windows 7

My laptop runs in Windows 7. The problem is the arrangement of desktop icons is always messing up after every restart. What should be done to set a default arrangement?

    Hi,

You can arrange the icon display easily as and when required.

Right Click on an empty space on the desktop, you will get a menu in which you need to select VIEW, then will come the options, SHOW ICONS SMALL,MEDIUM,LARGE,

    Then AUTO ARRANGE and others.

Select AUTO ARRANGE and your icons will be arranged by the software and should remain in order.

    Thanks
