    Screensaver Settings Locked in Windows 7

    I am running Windows 7 Pro. Recently the settings to change the screen saver time and log on got locked accidently. What should be done to unlock these settings?

    Hello friend,



    I will help you to solve your problem don't worry just follow as i say k.

    1.Firstly log in to system with an administrative privileges k.

    2.Now click on start menu and open search box k.

    3.Under search option type "gpedit.msc" and press enter k.

    4.Now expand "User configuration" folder on the left pane k.

    5.And also expand "Administrative Templates","Control panel" and click Personalization k.

    6.Now double click the "Password protect the screen saver" setting k.

    7.Now a properties window will pop up and open k.

    8.Now select an option of disable and click Apply and then OK.

    9.Now the lock screen feature will be disabled k.

    That's it your problem is solved k.

    Hello !!

    it seems that your access to use screensaver and windows log on option has been restricted.
    so for removing this issue do follow the steps given below:-

    1.logon with your administrator account.
    2. go to screensaver option
    3.there you will find your user account
    4. just give that account access from which you were unable to go to screensaver option.

    now click ok >> apply

    your problem will be solved.

    to unlock the screen saver in windows fallow these steps
    go to administrative account
    then select run and type gpedit.msc
    then locate user confighration
    now locate administrative templates
    then select control panel
    then select personalization
    select password protect screen saver
    go to properties window
    disable the lock screen option
    then save the changes.
