Security alert pops up while using Internet Explorer on Windows Vista

Every time I launch Internet Explorer on my laptop running on Windows Vista, I will get an alert saying “Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to continue?” But, when I view the certificate by clicking the ‘View Certificate’ button, I am getting the message ‘This certificate is OK”. In what way can I get rid of this alert?

Try to disable proxy server on Internet Explorer installed on your PC and check whether the issue still persists or not. Click the ‘Start’ button on the desktop for that and locate the search box. Type inetcpl.cpl into the search box and press the ‘Enter’ key. Press the ‘Connections’ tab on the window pop up on the screen after that. The next step required is to press the ‘LAN Settings’ button. Clear off the check box next to ‘Use a proxy server for your LAN’ option visible under proxy server. Apply the changes by clicking on the ‘OK’ button.

    Hi.
check if proxy server settings are enabled. To do this, try these steps:
Disable proxy server on Internet Explorer (IE)
    a. Click Start, type inetcpl.cpl and hit enter.
    b. Click Connections tab, click LAN settings button.
    c. Uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN" under proxy server.
    d. Click ok to apply the changes.
    e. Open Internet Explorer and check if the issue persists.

    Thank you.
