    Setting up default calendar on Calendars app in Windows 8

    I am using two accounts with the Calendar app in my PC upgraded to Windows 8. One of them is my gmail account and the other is Microsoft e-mail account. I want to set my gmail account as default calendar account for adding calendar events. What are the procedures required for that?

    Hi.
    Follow the below steps:
    >>open calendar
    >>open setting
    >>turn off all all the calendars you do not want to use eg. hotmail, live etc.
    >>just ensure your gmail calendar is still on.

    when you create a new event, it will now be a gmail event.
