    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..........................................

1.This will happen when your system is occupied maximum.

2.If that is not your problem then you check that Windows 7 is compatible with your system or not.

3.If that i also not your problem then this can be the problem of the virus which affected your system.

4.So you install the best antivirus software and then use it.

5.If still you have the problem then you have to format your system and freshly install the OS to fix this problem.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day...................................

Re: Shutting down is taking minutes in windows 7 ultimate system

Practically the Start and Close of Windows Depends on the number of programs it loads during startup.
Windows need to close all opened programs before shutting down the System.

There can be a number of issues which may slow down start Close of Windows.

    1. Too many Open programs cause slow exit as they are closed one by one by Windows.
    2. If virus infected files are present in the system, they can considerably slow down the system.
    3. Corrupt System files too can cause problem while shutting down.
    4. Auto Update option can slow down the close, as the updates are to be installed in the system.

For solving the slow exit problem,
Run sfc /scannow from the Elevated Command Prompt.

Scan the system with a quality antivirus, and kill the infected files.

Before , Turning Off the System, press Ctrl+Alt+Del, invoke Task Manager,
Check how many applications are running and how many processes are running, close them .

Remove , unimportant programs from the Start up and the problem should be solved.
