Check whether your system is muted or not.
If your system is not muted then there is problem with the other persons mike.
Ask him to connect a external headphones with mic.
This will solve the problem you are facing.

If you want to check this out call someone other than him/her u usually call . you will hear the other person.

    HI,
this problem generally occurs when the microphone is not properly installed on the other side, ask them to check their microphone
and also make sure that microphone is not muted on other side.
    Happy chatting.
    :-)

    Hello,

    1. Ensure that "Show hidden files and folders" is switched on.

Click Start and then Run Type "control folders" and click OK. In the View tab, ensure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled.

    2. Exit Skype : From the system tray >> right click on the skype icon and click "Quit Skype".

    3. Click Start >> Run Type: "%programdata%\Skype\Apps" (without the quotes)

    4. Rename the folder login to login1.

    5. Then go to Skype folder inside program files and go to phone folder and then right click on Skype application and select send to Desktop.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

    hey friend...

This video call issue occurs because of many reasons:-

    1. your friend don't have a webcam.
    2. May be you are using webcam but it does not have in build microphone.
    3. Call received by a person whose is calling without headset in case of in build missing microphone.
    Possible solutions are...

    1. Please install a webcam first a=if your friend don't have.
    2. Make sure that you and your friend installed the webcam driver properly because many people forget to install this.
    3. In case you or your friend don't have the in build microphone in your webcam, try to make video chat with the help of a audible microphone or headset which can provide you good quality sound.
    Thanks dear friend and enjoy...
