Some Desktop Icons appears as plain folder

I am currently using windows 7. It works fine and there is no need to complain about its working but I m facing issue with the Desktop Icons. Actually some of my desktop icons like- Computer, Network appears as plain folder. I don’t know what happened but now it only appears as any other new folder Icon. Can you tell me the way to revert the changes to default?

There are the folloowing steps to revert the changes to default:-
1.Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select "Personalize" from the drop-down list. The Personalization window appears.
    2. From the left pane, click on the "Change desktop icons" link. The Desktop Icon Settings window appears.*
    3. Moves all your apps and files to new PC, Windows 7.
    4. Check the boxes next to the appropriate desktop icons that you want to add to the desktop. After *your selection, click the "OK" button. Your changes have been done.

Follow this step to remove this Problem:-

To do this, first ensure that no other applications are running.

Go to Windows Safe Mode – Press F8 soon after the PC is switched on and then select Safe Mode from the displayed menu and Press Enter after select.

Now launch Windows Explorer (pressing the Windows key+E) and then click the Organize button at the top left and choose Folder and search options from the dropdown menu.

In the Folder Options dialogue box appears, click the View tab and then scroll down to find the ‘Show hidden files, folders and drives’ radio button – click to select it and then click OK to close Folder Options.

Now use Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Users\YourWindowsAccountUsername\AppData\Local (replacing ‘YourWindowsAccountUsername’ with your own username), where you should find the icon cache file – it is called IconCache.db.

Click to select it and then either right-click and choose Delete or press the Delete key on the keyboard. Read the Delete File warning to ensure that you are deleting the correct file and, when sure, click Yes. Now restart Windows.

Hopefully, this will fix the problem of mismatched icons.
