Speed of progress bar slowed down after installing a third party software in windows 7

Here I want to clarify that i am talking about the progress bar which appears on top in green colour. It shows how fast, your computer is performing the given task. My windows 7 computer was working absolutely fine till yesterday but my little brother installed a software called "Photo maker". It is not a heavy software but after that the progress bar shows slow process.

You said that the problem had started occuring after installing a third party software so uninstall it immediately. To do the same navigate to control Panel>> Program and Features>> Photo Maker>> Right click on it and choose "Uninstall". Sometimes third party softwares comes with harmful programs like Viruses, worms, trojans etc which can damage your computer. To protect your computer from those harmful programs, you must use security softwares like Antiviruses, Antimalwares etc.To improve the speed of your computer, you can use softwares like Ccleaner or Tuneup Utilities.

    Hi,

It is very much possible that after installing third party softwares the computer can get slow in processing speed.

There are reasons for that, the windows Registry gets heavy and take more time to process, also extra time needed to verify, load and execute extra sets of programs.

But there can other reasons too. There can be wrong/incomplete installation which can create problem.

There can be Viruses, Worms, Spywares etc. which can be brought to the system by the program too, and can cause immence damage.

Uninstall the program, follow the instruction "
Start>Control Panel>Programs>Select the program to be uninstalled, Uninstall. this will remove the program from your system.
Check the computer drives for any virus infection.

    Thanks.
