Steps to be taken for installing start.vbs file into Windows XP

While I was browsing websites through my PC running on Windows XP, I found a start.vbs file which is very useful for my work. No matter how much I tried, I canít install that file into my system. What is the actual procedure required for installing this file?

    Instructions

      • 1Download the Windows Script version that matches your operating system (see Resources). Skip to Step 3 if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7.

      • 2Double-click the file that you just downloaded to install Windows Script. Windows Script contains the necessary files that run VBS files.

      • 3Right-click the VBS file that you cannot run and click "Properties." Click the "Change" button and double-click "Microsoft Windows Based Script Host" to restore the association. If you cannot find this item, click "Browse" and go to the "System32" folder inside your "Windows" folder in your primary drive. Double-click "wscript.exe" to finish the process. You may now run VBS files properly from there by double-clicking the item.
