    Friend
You wish to uninstall the Current OS i.e. Windows 7 in your system. For this you just need to create format the drive in which your System OS is located.
And clearing i.e. Formatting the C drive(in which your OS was located earlier)will leave your system blank. So you would need to install another Operating system to get access to your computer.
But I would rather suggest you not to uninstall and instead you should upgrade the Windows 7 version with the latest Upgrade version of the Windows.

Re: Steps to uninstall Windows 7 in the home PC

you can do this by using the following steps
1 Insert any other OS CD and restart your computer. When computer restarts, it will show you the message "To boot from disc, press any key." Follow this, and press any key.

2 Follow the steps to install the OS in drive C. While doing so, you will also have to erase the previous contents of C(your hard) drive.
3 After you enter the setup, the CD will load up a blue screen and will start loading operating system files (this make take few minutes).
4 When it finishes, it will list a few options, Press ENTER to set up Windows XP now is the one we need. Click this choice.
5 The next screen to come up, is the The Windows Usage Agreement. Accept Windows usage agreement It tells you, that, to accept this whole long agreement, that you need to press F8 to accept the agreement. Press F8 to accept.
6 The setup system should now begin. If an existing Windows XP installation is detected by the system, you are prompted to repair it. We will bypass this step.
7 Delete old partition and format At this point, you need to select the partition where you prefer to install Windows XP. This is where you will delete your partition, and format C: drive. The box in the lower half of the screen, shows all your drives and the partitions that currently exist on your hard disk. Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight and select your C: partition, and press the D key. On the next screen, press the L key, to confirm that you want to delete partition C:, and finalize the deletion of the partition. (if you have only Unpartitioned space and you have no C: or D: partitions, skip this step)
8 Create installation partition-Now you should be back on the screen prompted to choose where to install Windows. The box on the lower half of the screen should no longer show a partition. Instead, you should now see Unpartitioned space xxxxxMB. Select/highlight this with the arrow keys, and press the C key to create a partition on the drive (this is where you will install Windows). Now the setup program tells you that the minimum and maximum sizes the partition can use, and lets you pick the size. The default size is the maximum available, leave the default value and press Enter.
9 With the next screen that is displayed, the Format screen, the setup program will let you choose the file system you prefer the drive to be formatted with. Choose NTFS (New Technology File System)Quick (recommended because NTFS is faster and more secure). Use the arrow keys to select, and hit Enter.
10 Setup will start to, and will auto-format the C: partition, and start with Windows XP installation. From here, you are all set, and the installation of Windows will proceed. This will take a while. The computer will reboot several times, and will continue with installation. Dont remove the Windows XP setup CD, and dont press a key when prompted (we already did that).
11 This process is similar for all Windows' operating system versions.

    Hi,

To uninstall Windows 7 and so to say any Operating system from the installed drive of any computer you dont need to take too much pain.

Simple formatting of the drive can do that.

But what is your intention ? To install a newer operating system or to convert to an older one?

If newer Windows installation is what you want then you dont need to format, just delete the partitionand the to be installed Operating will format the new partition and start installation afresh.

I dont think you need to uninstall Windows 7 to keep the computer idle, anyway take your decision. Backup all files prior to removing partition, formatting.

    Thanks.

    My dear friend,

If you have the real window 7 or original window 7 then you have no need to uninstall it because you have to do just one single step i.e.recover the window 7.

Or if you want to uninstall any software or application then you can go for control panel and then after go for the specific software which you want to remove and right click on it and then go for uninstall.

And if you have not a original window then you have to reinstall it by inserting a CD or DVD then the previous one deleted or uninstall iteself.

    Thank u!!

    Dear friend,
you can do it in two way.
    First:
->just right click on the drive in which you have the window.
    ->then select format option.
->then select quick format option and click on format button.
    second:
    ->just put the window disk.
->then restart your system and start installing that window.
->then install new window on the same drive where your old window resides.
->this will delete old window and you can install new window.
second option is better than first one.

    Hello friend,

you need to format your hard drive in order to remove your current operating system but first backup our important data to pendrive, external HDD, or any other storage device. it is the recommended action that should be taken while formatting your Hard Drive. now follow this procedure to format your hard-drive.

    1) first make a bootable C.D/flashdrive of the OS you want to install. (if you already have a bootable C.D/Flashdrive you do not need to follow this step).

    2) insert it in C.D tray/USB port and restart your system.

    3) Press F9 or F12 (depend on system to system).

    4) after pressing you will enter in boot menu.

    5) select the exact drive form the menu and then press enter.

    6) Now follow the onscreen menu and then in between the process installer ask you to select the drive to install new OS.

    7) select the drive from the list and then format it first (format option will be available there) then click next and wait till installer loads all file..

    Hi friend,

First make sure of installing the genuine operating system so that you may not find any problem after installing another Operating system.

And also you should format the drive in which you have installed the previous operating system.

Do not format all the drives of your computer.

If you do that you would loose all the data that you have stored in your computer.

So be careful before doing this.

Here is the video which would also help you uninstalling the windows 7 by using command prompt:-

Hope i have helped you in getting relevant information.

    All the best

    Thanking you....

    Friend,
According to me it would be better not to uninstall the Windows 7 rather than upgrade the latest version of the Windows.

For unistalling the Windows 7 follow the steps:-

First of all you need to select the drive where the file is saved.

    Then format the drive.

You should copy any important documents if present from the drive C.

Since once formatted the data will be lost for ever.

You should install another OS for operating your computer.

    Dear friend,

Follow these simplesteps to uninstall your Windows 7 operating system.

    Hiren'sBootCD 15.2.
    2. Burn it to a CDusing Nero or other similar software.
    3. Boot with this CD.
    4. Select "Start mini window XP" when prompted.
    5. Now mini Windows XP will be loaded into your RAM only.

Re: Steps to uninstall Windows 7 in the home PC

Dear your window can only be uninstalled by the another window package means if you wants to uninstall your window 7 operating system then first of all you should have a CD of Window 7 operating system in original format then only you will be able to uninstall window 7 from your computer and if you are willing to install another operation system then you need the package or setup of that operating system in a particular CD or DVD but only in original format not in any pirated format because that may affect your computer program

First of all you should save your all data and programs which are saved in drive C and in My Documents or at Desktop because if you will start uninstalling the window you will loose your entire data which is saved under drive C and on Desktop that is why copy that data and save in any other drive of the hard disk

    >> You should insert the CD of Window XP or Vista or Window 8 or any other operating system which you wants to uninstall and restart the system

    >> After some seconds you will see a message on screen which is - Press Any Key To Boot From CD then you should press Enter and it will process for some time

    >> After sometime you will see a new option where you have to press key - F8 for Agree and then again you have to select the drive C and hit enter but do not select any other drive

    >> After sometime you will be asked to enter Product Key of the operating system which you wants to install and you can get the key at your CD because the key will be mentioned at your CD of OS

    >>then click at Next then enter Organization Name and Computer Name and click at Next and your computer will be updated with a new operating system but this process will take at least 1 hour to be completed

    >> Finally you will have to install all necessary software which you work on as - MS Office, Tally etc.

    All the best
