Strange folders in Windows 7 post upgrade from Vista

I had Windows Vista installed in my PC which I recently upgraded to Windows 7. After the upgrade, I browsed through a few hidden files in Windows 7. By chance, I happened to notice two strange folders named ‘$WINDOWS.~Q’ and ‘$INPLACE.~TR’. I would like to know if these folders are safe. Are they safe to delete?

    Dear friend.

You don't need to worry about these folder. These folders are created by your operating system for its own use such as
-to keep a log of your activities on your PC,
-for keeping temporary data used by running applications such as during editing of a Microsoft Office Word file,
-temporary data storage during installation of window programs, or
-$RecycleBin$ folder is used by operating system to store deleted files by you from your hard drive unless you remove them from your recycle bin, etc.

If you suspect that these folders are created by Viruses or Trojans then you can scan them by your updated antivirus program. That will remove the viruses or Trojans if present.

If you forcefully delete them by somehow then they will be created again by your operating system as per requirements.

So don't bother about these folders.

    Thanks! Have a nice day!

    Dear friend.

For your kind information the windows cntains numerous hidden files and folders.

Now please understand the use of the hidden files and the folders.

The system needs some critical files to function properly.

Because these files do not get deleted from the user interface hence these files are hidden.

You need not to be panic about this.

For the further help post to viositor massage.

    Regards,

    hiii...
its often that you see the folder like "Recycler", TEMP.xyz etc and we treat them as viruses.
Actually those files are automatically created by windows but kept hidden so as not to clog up the drive withn so many folders.
When you connect any phone, try to check the hidden files and then you will understand that actually they are needed to run processes in background.
So don't be panic for them
