    Suggest a way to disable Inline AutoComplete in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer

    I am Arvind kumar Banwala from Pune. I am having HP laptop and a Windows 7 OS is installed in it. I don't like Auto complete feature in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. Can I disable that.Suggest a method to do so.

    hi bro,

    you can do this,just follow my instructions.

    to disable the auto complete future in address box in windows explorer,and address box in internet explorer.

    1.click start,point to settings,point to control panel and then click internet options.

    2.click the content tab,click autocomplete,and then click to clear the web address check box.

    3.click ok,and then click ok.thats it you have done.

    Hi friend,

    To Disable Inline Autocomplete

    I) Type internet options in search box of start menu if you running windows

    OR
    Open Internet explorer >> Tools >> Internet options

    II) In the content tab click on settings in autocomplete label

    III) New box will open select or deselect the features as per your choice and click OK

    Dear friend,


    Follow these steps to disable Inline AutoComplete in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer-


    • Click on the Start button.
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click on Network & Internet Options.
    • Select the Content tab & then click on Auto Complete.
    • Click to clear the Web addresses check box.
    • Click OK and & again click OK.

    For solving your problem just follow the steps.
    Go to control panel>network and sharing center>internet option>content tab>autocamplete>clear web address.
    Then click "OK".
    It will solve your problem.

    click start
    open control panel
    click on internet options
    click the content tab
    click auto complete
    click to clear the web address check box.
    click ok

    Dear Friend . . .

    Auto Complete is not a warm or not harm full thing.

    Which is help full to previous things that your are already entered.

    For Enable/ Disable That functionality please follow these steps care fully.

    * Open Internet Explorer

    * press the Alt+ T and Go to Internet option

    * tap bit. you will get a dialog box . in that dialog box.

    * please click on content tab.

    * in that table click change the preference of auto complete .

    Now you can easily change the preference of auto completing.

    dear friend.....

    you have to follow some steps.......

    1. Open internet explorer
    2. Press alt+t
    3. Go to Internet option
    4. In dialog box click on "CONTENT TAB"
    5. Click on change the preference of auto complete
