System is not shutting down running on windows 8

I am facing a problem with shutting down the system which is running on Windows 8. I clicked shut down for so many times. After some minutes it takes me to a blank screen and stays there for long time. Where I cannot do anything on the screen. I waited even more than 3 hours, but the screen remains the same. It saying that windows will shut down in. why this happens. What will be the problem behind this? Can anyone note for me to overcome this problem.

The delay in shutdown will happens mostly at the time, the windows is updated. If you don’t want this delay then turn off the Windows update. This will solve the problem. If you found the problem persists then Go to start->Run then type cmd and press Enter and give a command cmd shutdown in the command prompt and press Enter which will force the system to shut down. If you found the problem not solved then the problem is with Faculty drivers. Check whether you have installed any custom driver if so then un-install it and restart your system. Then try shutdown which will bring your system down.

    dear friend,

There are many probable reasons behind this kind of problem.

You must check for the problem one by one.

You'll surely find the solution from that.

Check for the following errors & related actions-

    1. Hard disc space in your computer has been reduced & reached to the minimum level. Try to perform Disc Cleanup for that.

    2. Temporary file folder has been junked with many files. Run %temp% command to open up the Temporary file folder. Now permanently delete all the files from it.

    3. You've installed too many applications on your computer. Uninstall all the unused & unnecessary applications from your computer.

    4. Your computer may be affected with virus programs. Use a good antivirus to scan your computer & delete all the infected files.

    5. If there is any system problem then go for system restore.

    6. If any system file has been corrupted then repair your system.

If nothing works then it must be the hardware issue.

You must contact to your nearest service center to repair the hardware issue.
