System slows down upon using Internet and freezes gradually.

I work on a Windows 7 OS.Normally my system works smoothly but when I try to access the Internet the system becomes slow and after a while hangs. This has become very frustrating. I tried to switch browsers-Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox but no use.

    dear friend,

There are many possible reasons behind this problem.

At first type %temp% in the search box under Start menu & press enter.

Click ctrl+A & delete permanently all the TEMPORARY files from the temp folder.

Then go to your browser settings & clear all the browser history , cookie & cache files.

Now restart your browser & check for the issue.

You may uninstall the browsing software & reinstall the full & upgraded version of it.

If it doesn't work then use any internet security software at the time of browsing.

You may download from the official website or you can buy it from market.

But it must be full & the genuine version.

You may go for soft start.

Type msconfig in the search box at the Start menu & press Enter.

System configuration dialog box will open.

Select the General tab & check the selective startup option-also uncheck the load startup items checkbox.

Go to services tab & check Hide all Microsoft Services checkbox.

If neither of these works then you've to go for system restore.

    Hi,
The trouble you are facing is it a recent phenomena? or was it a regular occurance ?
Do check in a few things.
Check the system extensively for virus infection and clean if found.
Do you have enough of RAM installed in your system? If not install some as the Internet requires a lot of them to be able to please you.
Do you have a lot of addition in the browser, in form of assistant software? uninstall them.
Do you clen the system regularly? Clean them using DiskCleanup utility of windows and remove Cookies, Downloaded files, Disk cache etc, to speed up the system.
Do Unfragment files inyour disk using Disk Defragmenter available in the windows.
Check the USB Dongle or the cable you are using for surfing the net for any issue there.
    Thank you.
