Re: Taking long time to download a file in Windows 7 System

    Solution:

Check whether you internet connection is slow.
Dial up connection is slower than the broadband connection.
If you are connected to some office network, make sure that no file sharing is taking place. This might also be the reason for slow downloading.
There might be the problem with the network settings.
You might have opened many programs. Close the opened programs.
You System might have spyware. Scan the System to remove the spyware.
Make sure that your System has all the Updates installed. This might also degrade your Systems performance.

    Hi,

To improve on the speed of internet surfing, you can take a few measures that might help.

Keep your system updated with updates and patches.

Keep the system Clean of virus/malware/spywares.

Delete any less important files, remove unimportant documents ans clear downloaded files/cookies etc.

Check internet/network settings for anything wrong.

Use Defrag to make system orderly.

Finally using Broadband connection insted of Dialup connection, along with bigger memory will definitely improve speed.

    Thanks.

    Dear Friend!!
There are a lot of things that could have occurred using net-
your antivirus should be upgraded as many trojan viruses are always making some way to increase the traffic of the net.
You should have some internet downloading managers and internet accelerators to boost the speed of net.
    Install MS Silverlight.
And most imp is that you should regularly clean up add-ons and cookies as well as cache memory.

Re: Taking long time to download a file in Windows 7 System

Your connection might be slow. If you have a dial-up connection, it takes a lot longer to download files than if you have a broadband connection, such as DSL or cable.

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) might be offline or experiencing heavy Internet traffic. Wait a while, and then try again.

If you are on a corporate network, the network settings might be the problem. Check with your system administrator.

If you use a file or music-sharing program, someone might be downloading a file from your computer. Try disabling file-sharing services while you're downloading and see if the process gets faster.

You might have too many programs open at the same time. Try closing unnecessary programs.

Your computer might have spyware running. Try scanning your computer for spyware. For more information about removing spyware, see Remove spyware from your computer.

Missing updates can affect your computer's performance. Go to the Windows Update website and check for updates.

Re: Taking long time to download a file in Windows 7 System

    Dear,

The downloading speed for a file depends on the type of network connection you are using; the number of systems downloading that file at the time,
the maximum allowed downloading speed by the server (different file hosting server) from which you are downloading, etc. So speedy cannot be increase after a limit of.

The default download managers in different web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc. are not specifically designed for downloading. You
should use third-party download managers to increase the downloading speed. Some of the popular download managers are:

    1. Internet download manager- paid software.
    2. Free Download Manager
    3. GetGo Download Manager
    4. FlashGet Download Manager

    Thanks!

    Dear friend,

If it is taking long time for you to download file in Windows 7, then it is not the fault of Windows OS.

Your Internet Connections could be slow due to which downloading speed is less.
    a
Just check your Internet Connection and try again.

Even then if problem is not solved, then restart your PC and try again.

I am sure your problem would be solved.

    3. expand on Administrative Templates

    4. Then expand to Network

    5. Then expand to Qos Packet scheduler

    6. Double click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth

    7. Then in it Tick mark on Enable & set 0% the limit bandwidth

    8. Apply & Ok

    Now you have doe it........

Hope you have got your solution...

Re: Taking long time to download a file in Windows 7 System

    Hi Friend,
    Don't Worry,

Nothing to Worry it is Based on the Processor Once you Running No.of Programs in your System Processor will share and allocated to each Program so The Speed of Process will be less so you can remove unnecessary programs from your computer then check it speed will automatically increase Or you can Change your Processor still not coming Speed.

You may check Internet connections also like:
    Open Browser-->
    Internet Connections-->
    Increase Low to High.
    Or else you may download
    Internet Down Loader
    Flash get Down Loader
    you can automatically increase speed

    Thank you.,

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.............................

1.This can be the problem of the Internet Speed.

2.For every download the time depends on your internet speed.

3.If it is not downloading in that speed to then it can be the problem of your network drivers.

4.So you try to update them and also check that your internet server is working or not.

5.If that is not your problem then this can be the problem of browser so you try to o update it to fix the problem.

    Have a nice day.........................

    Hi, Dear friend

Usually, this is the problem about the Respective Network only

However, try to check all the Network settings ...and always clear the Browsing History .. of the corresponding Browser

And also Try to Run the Network .. Troubleshooter and check whether if you have any network related issues

That is go to Desktop ... and then right click on NETWORK ICON from the taskbar...and choose ... Troubleshoot Problems.....and wait for the completion of process

or............... go to control panel >> System and Security >> Action Center >> Troubleshooting

Now choose the NETWORK AND INTERNET ... .... and then choose the Troubleshoot option ... depending on your issue....and follow the guide liens to fix the issue

And if you are unable to solve the issues cases ...... try to contact your service provider ...and fix the issue

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
