    Text invisible issues on control panel on Samsung desktop running Windows XP

    I cannot read the text on the control panel on my Samsung desktop running Windows XP. I think it is because the back ground and the text is black in colour. How can I change the back ground colour of the control panel?

    hi there,
    if the problem is due ro the fact that text and background color is of same color, then you can detect it by trying to select some items in there.

    To such problem, you can simply change the theme of your desktop to see your problem vanishing.

    you can do the following to change your theme :

    * right click on the desktop
    * click properties
    * seelct the theme tab
    * select any theme from there.

    hope you gain some benefit from this.

    There are the following steps to change the color:-
    1.Open the ‘ Start ‘ menu by clicking on the ‘ Start ‘ button.
    2.Click on ‘ Control Panel ‘ or press ‘ C ‘ until ‘ Control Panel ‘ is selected and then press ‘ Enter ‘ if necessary.
    3.If you see the text ‘ Pick a category ‘ as the main title on the page and under the Control Panel title you can see ‘ Switch to Classic View ‘ you need to click the ‘ Switch to Classic View ‘ by clicking on the link or by pressing tab until the ‘ Switch to Classic View ‘ is selected and then press ‘ Enter ‘.
    4.In Classic view double click on ‘ Display ‘ or press the ‘ D ‘ key repeatedly until ‘ Display ‘ is highlighted and then press ‘ Enter ‘.
    5.Click on the ‘ Appearance ‘ tab or press ‘ Control ‘ + ‘ Tab ‘ until the ‘ Appearance ‘ tab is at the front.
    6.Click the drop down box below the ‘ Colour scheme ‘ heading, or press ‘ Alt ‘ + ‘ C ‘ to jump there. Use the mouse or the up and down arrow keys to browse through the list and click on the scheme you want, or press ‘ Enter ‘, to select a scheme. Click ‘ OK ‘ or press ‘ Enter ‘ to exit the ‘ Display Properties ‘ dialog box.
