hi my dear friend.............to set the Desktop browser of another instead of IE9 go this way

simply press windows key+r and type command inetcpl.cpl and press ENTER key

then tap on the PROGRAMS TAB

now click on SET PROGRAMS button from the internet programs category

and then click on SET YOUR DEFAULT PROGRAMS option

and now choose the browser .... that is which browser you want to use as desktop browser from the left pane

then at the right pane click on SET THIS PROGRAM AS DEFAULT option .......after that click OK

now your desktop browser will be changed.................ALL THE BEST/.!!!!!!!!!!!!
