It is possible to transfer the photos on the camera to the windows computer. There are a couple of methods that can be followed to get the transfer done. One easy method is to connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable provided along with the camera. If the camera does not provide a USB cable then, you can opt for the next method. First, you need to remove the memory card from the camera and then use a card reader to get the files on to the computer. When the card is inserted, the photos will be displayed as in an external drive is connected. You can choose the photos that need to be transferred and the once that need not be transferred.

    Follow these steps:

.Connect one end of the USB cable to the port in your camera.
.Connect another end of USB cable to the USB port in your computer. This may be in front are back of the CPU.
.Turn on the camera.
.A dialog box may appear on the screen. If it does select "VIEW FILES", or "OPEN FOLDER".If dialog box wont appear go to "MY COMPUTER", and choose the drive labeled of your connected camera.
.The pictures are probably located in a particular photo folder on the camera. Open that folder. Drag individual photos from the folder to your desktop or some other folder on your computer. You can select all the photos by pressing "Ctrl-A" and you can then paste them into a folder on your computer by pressing "Ctrl-V."

.Remove the memory card from your camera.

.When you enter the card, your computer should open a dialog box. If it does, select "View Files" or "Open Folder." If the dialog does not appear, click the Windows "Start" menu, select "Computer" and then choose the drive labeled for your connected camera.

.The pictures are probably located in a particular photo folder on the camera. Open that folder. Drag individual photos from the folder to your desktop or some other folder on your computer. You can select all the photos by pressing "Ctrl-A" and you can then paste them into a folder on your computer by pressing "Ctrl-V."
