Trouble in syncing IOS devices with iTunes installed on Windows XP

Whenever I try to sync IOS devices with iTunes on my PC running on Windows XP, I keep getting the error message. The system says “I have no enough access privilege for doing this operation”. How can I fix it?

First of all, you need to login to your PC using your administrator account. Hold the ‘Windows’ key afterwards and press the ‘R’ key. You can then find a field appearing on the screen. Type gpedit.msc into the available field and click the ‘OK’ button. When the Local Group Policy Editor pops up on the screen, get into the location, Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Custom Policy Settings/Write Protection. Make certain that ‘Write Protect USB Removable Drives settings’ is already set to either Not Configured or Disabled. After that, reboot your PC and sync the device again.
